M.M. Group of Companies was established in 1986, by a team of dedicated marine professionals with the objective to provide integrated marine services. Today, major companies of the group are ISO:9001-2000 compliant, and are actively engaged in providing Marine Services ranging from Chartering, Brokering, Container and Cargo handling (Stevedoring), to Ship Breaking.

The group has further diversified its activities into Rice mills, Flour mills, Oil mills, and commodity exports and imports. The group also operates a brokerage house, M.M. Securities Private Limited which is an active ISO 9001:2008 certified corporate member of the Karachi Stock Exchange (G) Limited & Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited.

M.M. Tower, the Group's Head Office is strategically located in Karachi, situated between Karachi Port and Port Qasim. Karachi is Pakistan's main port city with two ports – Karachi Port and Port Qasim – which handle most of Pakistan's international trade, and serve as Pakistan's premier gateway. Karachi is Pakistan's largest metropolis with an estimated population of 20 million, whilst being the country's hub of financial, industrial and commercial activities.
